Harvey AAPI Community Relief Fund

“OCA–Greater Houston and our community partners have established the Harvey AAPI Community Relief Fund that will work in conjunction with the Harvey Community Relief Fund that was founded by other trusted organizations in Houston to pool resources and coordinate their distribution. We want to make sure that the AAPI community is represented and adequately served in efforts to recover and rebuild, and that aid is distributed efficiently and equitably to all underserved populations of Houston. Harvey is a disaster of historic proportions and is not something that is short-term. We are looking at a 4 month minimum time period where people will need shelter and assistance and years of work to help communities rebuild over the long term.”
