美華協會新澤西分會7日在韋恩市舉辦亞太裔傳統慶祝會，並舉行今年高中應屆畢業生論文獎學金頒獎儀式，王若琳獲今年首度頒發的李瓊蘭(Linda Lee)紀念獎學金，周瑞思獲溫羅拔(Robert Wone)紀念獎學金，各獲1500元獎學金，其他優秀得主也獲前三名及佳作獎表揚。
會長吳朱惠珍首先恭賀入圍得主，她呼籲下一代記得華裔在美國歷史上的貢獻，永遠記取自己的根源，開創未來新局。她指出，今年入圍的12名得主中，其中六名來自愛迪生市，三名即將入讀羅格斯大學。
